The Diet Sampler
This particular sampler I stitched when I was doing my A-levels. I was on (yet another) diet at the time and I used as a way of distracting myself from food. It did kind of work. When I finished it just before I went to university, I was the lowest I'd been in a while, and had lost two stone.
The pattern was from the Future Publishing magazine, Cross Stitcher, in an alphabet supplement. (Future do some really good cross stitch titles). As I can't remember what it was called, I refer to it as The Diet Sampler. Its stitched almost entirely in whole stitches, with only a few areas having even back stitch.
It was one of my quicker pieces, taking only a few months to complete.
